about hometown market
The Hometown Market is a family-friendly event that combines shopping with local small businesses in an open-air market, with family entertainment.
Help support local small businesses, featuring handmade and vintage items from over 40 vendors around Colorado. The market brings you unique, one-of-a-kind finds made by local artisans. Items include home décor and art, accessories, jewelry, kids toys, bath & body, vintage finds, candles, artisanal food and more!
What sets this market apart is the focus on creating a family-friendly environment, with activities and entertainment for little ones. Each market has free activities for kids, and entertainment to fit the season.
The market also caters to adult guests with free drinks (non-alcoholic), raffle prizes, and free Swag Bags for the first 200 guests (limit 1 per family), filled with freebies, coupons and treats from local shops. Local food trucks are also on site to satiate your hunger needs.
We have three markets a year, including Spring, Summer/Fall, and Winter/Holiday shows.
Current Hometown Market Dates:
Winter/Holiday: 2021, Saturday, November 27th from 9am to 3pm
Spring: 2022, TBD
Summer/Fall: 2022, TBD
The Hometown Market was co-founded by two sisters who grew up in Centennial, Colorado. While they both moved to other states temporarily, they returned to the state and city they love so much. With years of crafting and small business experience between the two of them, they seek to give local artisans a way to reach both new and loyal customers, while keeping costs down, and promoting their hard work. With five children between the two of them, ranging in age from 6 to 19, they also wanted to incorporate a family-friendly ambiance, with entertainment and activities similar to a fair.
The Hometown Market is your one-stop shop for unique handmade and vintage items, and a family outing full of food and drinks, activities and entertainment. Come spend your day with us at the Hometown Market, and enjoy yourself!
